Cleaning and Care Instructions

To receive the product's guaranteed protection and certification, be sure to follow the cleaning and care instructions.

Helmet

Shell

• Use a soft cloth and auto polish or glass cleaner.

• Do not use solvents or compounds, as they may damage the surface.

Visor

• Mirror visors should be cleaned with water only.

• Other visors can be cleaned with glass cleaner and a soft cloth.

• Never use solvents or auto polish on the visor.

• When installing a new visor, apply a solvent-free lubricant to the mounting kit.

Inner Pad

• Can be washed with soapy water at 30°C.

Racing Suit

• Racing suits should be worn and stored away from direct sunlight and other UV rays (such as fluorescent lights).

     NOMEX fabric is sensitive to UV rays and may cause fading or sunburn.

• When washing, fasten the Velcro fasteners on the collar and belt securely, turn the suit inside out to avoid damaging the embroidery, print, and suit fabric, zip it all the way up, fold it inside out, place it in a laundry net, and wash in lukewarm water below 30°C. For heavy soiling, wash with a mild household detergent on a gentle cycle.

• Avoid using bleach or fabric softener.

• Rinse thoroughly and spin-dry briefly. Then hang it inside out on a hanger and dry in the shade in a well-ventilated area.

• Do not use a dryer or iron.

• Do not dry clean, as this may dissolve the FIA-approved hologram sticker.

• If the racing suit becomes damp from water or sweat, hang it to dry.

• Do not store it in the bag until it is completely dry.

Underwear

• Wash gently by hand in lukewarm water below 30°C.

• Do not use bleach or fabric softener.

• If using a washing machine, use a gentle cycle and do not spin dry.

• Do not dry clean, as this may dissolve the FIA-certified hologram seal.

Gloves

• Pour lukewarm water below 30°C into a bucket or other container, dissolve household mild detergent in it, put on gloves, and rub the gloves on your hands.

• Rinse the detergent thoroughly under running water, squeeze out the water with a towel or your hands, and dry in the shade in a well-ventilated area.

• Do not wring the boots.

• Do not dry clean, as this may dissolve the FIA-certified hologram seal.

Boots

• To keep your boots in top condition, do not use them outside of a racing car.

• Do not dry clean, as this may dissolve the FIA-certified hologram seal.

 

Leather Boots

• For simple cleaning, use a nylon or brass brush for suede and an eraser for nubuck.

• For more severe stains, use soapy water or leather stain remover.

 

Non-Leather Boots

• We recommend washing in a washing machine at 40°C (104°F). Do not use bleach.

• Do not tumble dry.

• Avoid UV rays (sun and moon).
