Terms of Use

Stand 21 Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") hereby establishes the following terms of use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") for the smooth operation of the Stand 21 Japan website (http://www.stand21.co.jp) operated by the Company.

Article 1 (Definitions)
1. "User" means a user of the Service.
2. The Service means the following services provided by the Company to Users pursuant to these Terms:
 1. Product sales services
 2. Information provision services
 3. Various services incidental to 1. and 2. above
 4. Various services provided on the Company's website in the future

Article 2 (Scope and Changes to the Terms)
1. These Terms apply to the Company and Users with respect to the provision and use of the Service.
2. The Company reserves the right to change these Terms without the User's prior approval.
3. Users shall confirm the contents of these Terms and Conditions when using the Service, and the Company shall deem users of the Service to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Article 3 (Prices)
1. The price of each product is clearly stated on the shop page, and shipping charges are clearly stated on the "User Guide" page. 
2. The displayed product price and shipping charges include consumption tax. 
3. The Company reserves the right to change product prices and shipping charges without notice to the User. Even if the product price, shipping charge, or both change after the purchase contract is concluded, the User shall pay the price at the time the purchase contract is concluded, and the Company shall not charge or refund the User any difference.

Article 4 (Payment)
1. When purchasing a product, the User may choose from the following payment methods.
 1. Credit Card

 2. Cash on Delivery
 3. Bank Transfer

2. We reserve the right to add or delete the payment methods set forth in the preceding paragraph. 
3. If the User's payment amount is insufficient to cover the purchase price, the User must pay the remaining balance without delay using the same payment method used at the time of the purchase agreement. Any fees incurred in paying the remaining balance shall be borne by the User. 
4. If the User's designated credit card company notifies the User of a credit default, we may request the User to pay the purchase price using another payment method. 
5. Cash on Delivery payment is not available in the following cases:
- If the total price, including shipping, exceeds 300,000 yen. 
6. If payment by bank transfer is selected, the User must pay the transfer fee to the bank account specified by us within seven days of the conclusion of the purchase agreement.

7. If a user pays by bank transfer and the amount paid exceeds the purchase price, we will refund the excess amount minus the refund fee. However, if the excess amount minus the refund fee is less than ¥0, we will not refund the user.

Article 5 (Product Delivery)
1. Generally, all orders will be delivered by a delivery company designated by us.
2. The product will be delivered to the user within seven days from the date we receive the order (excluding some remote islands). For payments by bank transfer, the product will be delivered within seven days after we confirm the payment.
3. The delivery period may be extended beyond the period specified in the preceding paragraph for the reasons set forth in the following items.
 1. When product shipment is not possible due to our company's temporary closure, such as the New Year's holiday or  summer holidays.

 2. When product shipment cannot be made as scheduled due to a high shipping volume or handling costs from our  warehouse.

 3. When delivery is delayed after shipment due to circumstances on the delivery company's side.

 4. When the product is out of stock.

4. If the user has a special preference, they may specify a delivery date when placing an order, based on the period specified in Section 2.

5. We will make every effort to ensure that the product arrives on the user's specified delivery date. However, if it is difficult to deliver the product on the user's specified delivery date, we may set an alternative delivery date regardless of the specified delivery date.

6. We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages suffered by the user due to delays in delivery of the product to the user due to Sections 5 and 7, or for other reasons.
7. Products will only be delivered within Japan.

Article 6 (Returns and Exchanges)
1. After the purchase contract is concluded, the user will not be able to return or exchange products for personal reasons. 
2. After receiving the product, the user must promptly check for any damage. 
3. In the unlikely event that the product is damaged or incorrect, the user must contact us within three days of receiving the product. The user must keep the product in the original packaging, and any further processing will be as instructed by our company.

Article 7 (Conclusion of Purchase Contract)
1. The purchase contract between the user and our company will be concluded upon our receipt of the user's order information. 
2. After the purchase contract is concluded, the user cannot change or cancel the order.

Article 8 (Termination of Purchase Contract)
1. In any of the following cases, our company may terminate the purchase contract by sending a termination notice to the user's registered email address.
 1. If you choose to pay by credit card and your credit card company does not approve your payment.

 2. If payment is not made to your bank account within the specified period.

 3. If there is a false statement in your purchase order.

 4. If you violate these Terms and Conditions.

 5. If the ordered item is out of stock and there are no plans for future shipments.

 6. If the manufacturer or supplier has discontinued production of the item or is otherwise unable to supply it.

 7. If the delivery address is unknown or you are absent for an extended period and are unable to receive the item.

2. If the contract is terminated pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the payment made by the user will be refunded by remittance to the bank account designated by the user.
3. If the Company terminates the purchase agreement for reasons attributable to the User, the Company may claim damages incurred by the Company as a result of the termination of the purchase agreement, such as shipping and bank transfer fees, from the User, or may deduct such damages from the refund amount set forth in the preceding paragraph.

Article 9 (Handling of Personal Information)
The Company will handle User personal information in accordance with the separately established "Privacy Policy."

Article 10 (Prohibited Activities)
1. Violating laws and regulations, these Terms, or the "Membership Terms" separately established by our company.
2. Harming the rights, interests, or reputation of our company or other third parties.
3. Engaging in any activity that may have a negative impact on the physical or mental health of minors or that is contrary to public order and morals.
4. Engaging in any activity that is a nuisance or discomfort to other users or third parties.
5. Entering false information.
6. Sending or posting harmful computer programs, emails, etc.
7. Unauthorized access to our servers or other computers.
8. Lending, transferring, or sharing passwords with third parties.
9. Other activities that our company deems inappropriate.

Article 11 (Changes, Suspensions, etc. of the Service)
1. In order to maintain the smooth operation of the Service, our company may suspend the provision of all or part of the Service without notice if any of the following occurs.
 1. When necessary for scheduled or emergency system maintenance.
 2. When the system becomes overloaded.
 3. When system operation becomes difficult due to fire, power outage, or sabotage by a third party.
 4. When the Company deems it necessary to shut down the system for other reasons.

Article 12 (Service Modifications/Cancellation)
The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the Service at its discretion without prior notice.

Article 13 (Disclaimer)
1. The Company shall not be liable for any system interruptions, delays, or terminations, or data loss due to communication line or computer failures, or damages caused by unauthorized access to data, or any other damages incurred by members in connection with the Company's services.
2. The Company does not guarantee that emails or content sent from the Company's web pages, servers, domains, etc. are free of harmful content, such as computer viruses.
3. The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from a User's violation of these Terms.

Article 14 (Amendments to these Terms)
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at its discretion and to establish supplementary terms (hereinafter referred to as "Supplementary Terms"). Amendments to or supplements to these Terms shall take effect upon posting the revised Terms or Supplementary Terms on the Company's designated website. In such cases, Users shall comply with the revised Terms and Supplementary Terms.

Article 15 (Jurisdiction)
The Tokyo District Court shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
